Jacob Turns "three months" old

This week was a big week for our family.... I went back to work, Jacob turned "three months" old on 11/28/08, and Dave and I hosted our first, and Jacob's first ever, Thanksgiving Dinner at our house. This was the first Thanksgiving meal I had ever cooked...two days of food preparation, 15 minutes to eat, 2 hours to clean up! Jacob is cooing up a storm, and actively reaches and pulls toys to his mouth...so starts the chewing stage!

11/27/08- I am three months old, and growing makes me sleeeeeepy!

11/29/08- And more sleep... What an angel I am!

11/29/08- Daddy carving our first turkey

11/29/08- My first Thanksgiving Dinner, here with Grandma Brooks, Pops, Daddy, Mommy, and Aunt Terri...

I got to sit at the head of the table with Daddy!

And even figured out how to sneak some snuggle time and kisses in from Daddy

I'm Stuffed....with mommy's milk...Can't wait till next year when I get to taste-test this other stuff!

Jacob's 13th Week

11/19/08- Soap on my nose

11/19/08- Bath time!

11/19/08- Daddy had to stomp around the kitchen with me to keep me from crying...HA! I already have him trained so well....

11/20/08- This is the face I make when I am concentrating hard on something...

11/21/08- Playing Peek-a-Boo with Daddy....

And I love it!

11/23/08- Me and my favorite buddy, my left thumb...Daddy hopes this means I am going to be a lefty.....

11/23/08- Here I am playing Pull-up with Daddy...I am growing so strong...I can keep my head steady all the way up now!

11/24/08- Another Bath?!?!

11/24/08- Me next to my fuzzy doggie that my Godparents Chris and Laura got for me..he is soooo soft!

11/25/08- The face tells it all...guess what present I just left in my pants for mommy....

11/25/08- Me and mommy goofin around...this is our last full day together before she goes back to work....boo hoo!

Jacob's 12th Week

This week Jacob is growing by leaps and bounds, and he is full of new discoveries... He has found his fists, and loves to suck on them. His thumb is how his new best friend! He sat in his jumperoo for the first time, and though he isn't yet sure what to do with it, he is fascinated by the novelty of it!

11/13/08- Sleepy Time!

Jacob's 11th Week

11/9/08- Go Steelers! Snow fell last night...my first snowfall

11/12/08-I can shake and hold my rattle all on my own.....

...and kick my toys!

11/12/08-I am such a happy boy today because I slept for 6.5 hours straight last night!

11/12/08-Look how high I can hold my head during tummy time! I still don't really like tummy time though...
11/13/08-Another playdate with buddies Brooklyn and Cameron...We had such a good time!

Jacob's 10th Week

10/31/08-Although I don't eat from my highchair yet, I like to sit in it while Mommy cooks dinner.....

11/2/08- Mr. GQ in training.....all dressed up and ready for Church

11/4/08- Tummy time! Mr. Sheep is sooooo soft! Grandma Brooks came to play with me today while Mommy went to vote....

11/6/08-Today was anothe playdate...I met Cameron for the first time..He is a week younger than me just like Brooklyn

11/6/08-Here I am looking at Brooklyn's toys....I like her toys better than my own!
