Jacob has learned so much this month, and is now so much like a little toddler. We all went up to Pennsylvania to celebrate his first birthday with the Picarelli family, and had a wonderful visit. While there I gave Jake his first haircut, a few curls off the back. Jake learned to sip through a straw, recognize people in pictures, point to his toes when asked to do so, feed himself with a fork, "walk" up the stairs (with much assistance from mommy and daddy!), and most importantly, HE CRAWLED!!!! Yes, Jacob is now crawling, and will crawl all the way across the room to retrieve a toy. He has mastered the skill of cruising, and will climb all over the couch, ottoman, and anything else he can cling to! We practice walking with him daily, and he is able to take a few unsteady steps before falling into your arms...not long before he is on his own!
