The Picarelli Family Grows!: March 2009

Jacob is "blowing" raspberries, and likes to pound his hands up and down against toys and in the air when he is excited....he also tried a teething biscuit for the first time this week...boy oh boy was that a mess! But he loved every minute of it! Still no teeth, but Nanny says Daddy didn't sprout teeth till closer to 12 months, so we may be waiting a bit longer! Jake continues to be the joy of our lives, and is getting bigger by the minute!

What a mess it was for mommy to clean up, but well worth it!

Jacob had his 6 month doctor's appointment this week, and officially weighs 18lbs even and 28 inches long....sooooo big! He remains in the 95th percentile for height, and is now in the 55th percentile for weight, so he is TALL and SKINNY! Future basketball player maybe? He is so much more expressive as the weeks go by, and wants to grab onto EVERYTHING, particularly paper and other objects he shouldn't really have..... he sits up all on his own without any added support, so we are now trying to work on crawling. We had a playdate with friends Isabella and Brooklyn...oh so much fun! They are all growing so fast!
